We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Research and development team and become part of a fast-moving company with many opportunities.

The role will be based in Hunedoara, Romania, reporting to the R&D Manager.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Create technical solutions starting from various initial inputs such as specifications, field feedback, competitor analysis, etc.

  • Self-sufficient in driving projects and tasks to meet the deadlines and project objectives.

  • Manage the Orders intake process by ensuring the proper technical documentation is generated and available for production processes.

  • Manage the configuration Change Management Process for product designs and monitor Engineering changes to assess impact on technical documentation.

  • Maintain the proper quality of the technical documentation in accordance with the company standards making sure production runs in an uninterrupted process.

  • Provides the right imputing towards changes in the design in order to ensure all updates are captured into the change control of Drawings, BOM and Part Number data both into the PDM and ERP systems

  • Participates in technical and design review to ensure that the Configuration Management activities are covered.

  • Act as support for BOM related issues in the Development process or other Operation related activities.

  • Actively participates to any activity intended to check mistakes in the technical documentation, potential stock discrepancies, misalignments between Engineering BOM vs Manufacturing BOM vs actual build, cost reduction opportunities, process improvements, etc.

 

You will be our choice if you have: 

  • University degree - Technical (production/mechanical/electrical/automation)

  • Minimum 3year experience within a technical department

  • English– Proficient (C1)

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, any CAD software (Inventor and SolidWorks represents a plus), Teamcenter PLM

  • Technical drawing and basic mechanical design knowledge
